. I was never really attached to the result (of a film). I’ve always remained very neutral about whatever lows or highs I’ve seen.
When you get attached to the result, you can’t really move on with full concentration to the next one. And you have to always be in a good mind space to enter a film. Otherwise, you’re not really doing justice to it.
I’m not ecstatic about success, and I don’t get very low with failure. I just try to manoeuvre in between. A film may not have done well in theatres, but I may have enjoyed the journey or grown as an actor from it.
Today, I feel better as an actor than ever because I’m getting to be part of all these different genres. I’ve reached a place in my career where I’m loving the work that I’m doing. I have The Sabarmati Report in Hindi, with Vikrant Massey.
We’ve also done another film together that’s been in the news as just TME as the makers haven’t released the title yet. That has been one of the most challenging films I have done. I’ve finished shooting for my Tamil film Methavi.
It will also be in the horror genre. I’m starting the Telugu film Telusu Kada in July. It�.
