While you might not think of London and farming as a clear connection, farmers' markets have always been popular in the urban scape with many enjoying the chance to enjoy the natural and fresh produce of the countryside. Whether it's fresh fruit and vegetables, organic honey, warm bakes of beautiful flowers, farmers markets offer them all. Now, food experts at HelloFresh have made the official list of the UK's best farmers markets by analysing how often they occur, how long they last, the number of traders/producers, and online ratings.

Here are the two markets in London that were lucky enough to make the esteemed list. You can see the full list of the named markets in the whole of the UK below. The only two from London to make the list were Blackheath Farmers Market in south east London and Barnes Farmers Market in south London.

The Blackheath Farmers Market sees a local car park in the region become a local hotspot for fresh produce with Norfolk-caught brown shrimps, local honey, and seasonal specials like Kentish asparagus all on offer. Stalls often at Blackheath Farmers Markets include Bexley Brewery selling local produce beers and ciders.
