Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick tells owner it has all gone 't*** up' The Supervet: Noel Fitzpatrick is a firm favourite among Channel 4 viewers, so it's safe to say fans were left disappointed as veterinary surgeon Noel confirmed the episode that aired on Thursday, July 11, was the last in the series. The instalment was a "tough" one for Noel, who had to perform a huge surgery on a Caucasian shepherd dog called Odin, who had a condition where malformed vertebrae in his neck put pressure on his spinal cord. Noel told Odin's owner that his condition, which causes pain and impairs the nerve signals to his back legs, was "as bad as it gets".

Elsewhere in the episode, Noel had to operate twice on a toy poodle called Monty who was jumped on by a larger dog and needed a complex total hip replacement. Few vets could perform the surgery on such a miniature scale, and after the first failed, Noel had to take Monty back into surgery again.
