"We just closed one location to focus on another location," owner Rebecca Burns said Friday. "It doesn't seem smart to have two stores at half capacity when I can have one store that's fully stocked." The confectionery boasts over 120 varieties of handmade treats, from an array of flavored truffles, to classic caramels and fudge, to specialty items like chocolate-covered candied bacon.
The good news for Bettendorf chocoholics is that products can still be ordered through that location, 2248 State St., for shipping or curbside pickup. Holiday pop-up events are also a possibility.
Burns Burns opened the Bettendorf location in March 2023, citing a need for more production space ; the move came a month after she announced the closure of a Moline location that opened in 2017.
