Road closures will be in place in an area of Swansea as runners embark on the area to take part in the Briscoe Gorseinon 10k event. Taking place on Sunday, May 19, the 10k race will start and finish close to Penyrheol Leisure Centre before heading out onto Gorseinon High Street. The runners will join the cycle path for approximately four kilometres, before taking on the final stretch back through Grovesend.

There will be a number of road closures and traffic management procedures in operation on the day, which will also feature a 2k race. Access will be maintained for all emergency vehicles at all times. All runners must arrive at Penyrheol Leisure Centre no later than 8.
