Henson dazzled in a gold Balmain gown while arriving to host the BET Awards for the third time. Niecy Nash-Betts was bold in a bright blue ensemble, which she completed with matching opera gloves, square sunglasses and a tiny clutch. Halle Bailey wore a black leather dress perfectly fitted to her silhouette, hanging from her neck from a metal halter.
As guests gathered, people were also eager to see what the evening’s performers such as Megan Thee Stallion , Lauryn Hill , Ice Spice , Tyla, Latto and Sexyy Red would be wearing. Advertisement Everyone was also keeping an eye out for the awards show’s top nominee, Drake , who has been in the thick of a feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar . In addition to a slate of stellar performances, singer Usher will be honored with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
