These bars are made possible by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, building on the venue’s roll-out of self-order kiosks and self-pour drink stations within the arena. The technology aims to speed up service, so that visitors can have more time to enjoy the entertainment. Set to be rolled out this summer, the new food and drink experience will let guests tap in with a contactless payment, select their items, and go without a traditional checkout.
There are more self-serve bars is on the horizon, with a second location expected to open at the O2 later in the year.
