He arrived on the idyllic Greek island of Samos from nearby Turkey in a small boat, hoping to register as an asylum seeker. 'We had barely docked, and then police approached,' he says.
'There were two policemen dressed in black, and three others in civilian clothes. They were masked, you could only see their eyes.' What happened next to him and two other migrants — one also from Cameroon and another from the Ivory Coast — beggars belief.
He claims all three were put on a Greek coastguard boat and taken out to sea. There, they were thrown overboard.
