SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The Gardens at Yaddo recently reopened for the season and will welcome visitors through Oct.
13, they announced in a press release. Nestled within the National Historic Landmark, Yaddo — a private nonprofit retreat for artists— this sanctuary invites the public to immerse themselves in the gardens. With the unveiling of new public programming, the Gardens at Yaddo offer something for everyone to enjoy, the release said.
Visitors are encouraged to take note of the entrance, with a gate ensuring access roads remain unobstructed for artists in residence and emergency vehicles. The gates will open during Garden Open Hours: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.
m. to 2 p.m.
Guests entering on weekends are kindly asked to use the East Entrance. Limited parking is available, with additional guidance provided on yaddo.org/gardens , the release said.
The Art of Wellness series returns, with yoga classes held in the gardens on select Sundays through October. The Wine & Roses series pairs live music with fantastic vintage selections in the beautiful gardens. The Nature of Art features talks and readings exploring Yaddo and the region.
