Fine Dining may not seem the most obvious name but this Indian restaurant says it will cater for all your needs under one roof. From the spice of Asia, to the healthy cuisine of Greece but mainly the menu consists of good old fashioned Indian classics. The venue is in a rather non-descript shopping centre next to a giant supermarket.
However, that is quite handy as it allows for ample parking and a wonder around the shops whilst you wait for your takeaway. The restaurant only reopened again last year after the chip shop next door went on fire and that affected their business. From the outside, the restaurant looks very glamorous and stylish.
Inside, it looks spotlessly clean. They have gone for elegant décor with purple and cream high back cushioned chairs with folded napkins and shiny cutlery on white tablecloths. You can take your own alcohol to the table, which is handy as there are plenty of shops such as home bargains selling cheap plonk on the same row.
We decide to go for a takeaway as we spot a notice on the window offering 25% off when you spend £30. The menu consists of the usual starters such as mixed starters with bhaji, sheikh kebab, samosa and chat or chicken chat puri. There is an extensive main menu offering multiple options with the usual masasla, balti and bhuna but also with more exotic choices such as homestyle Naga salmon dishes or Nepalese hot dishes as well.
We start with the obligatory Papadums and chutney tray. We order two Papadums but get three a.
