Friday, May 31, 2024 The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has achieved certification in ISO 45001:2018, an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. Certified by Certification Europe on behalf of ISO, this standard offers a framework to help organizations manage risks and enhance health and safety performance. This certification underscores The CCD’s commitment to maintaining a robust health and safety culture.

Ann Hughes , Health and Safety Manager at The CCD said, “We want everyone who comes to The CCD, whether that’s to work or visit, to do so knowing that they are in a safe venue. We have an excellent track record for health and safety”, she added, “and this certification ensures that we continue to maintain these high standards and improve on what we do.” Chief Executive of The CCD, Stephen Meehan, commented “At the beginning of the year, we set an objective to achieve ISO 45001, so to get certified in five months is a huge accomplishment and testament to the great work and systems that the team have put in place and managed over the years.
