Saturday, July 6, 2024 The Association of Hospitality Professionals (AHP) is excited to launch the 7th edition of the AHP Hospitality Challenge and Awards – 2024, focusing on the theme of Sustainability. This annual event seeks to showcase the innovative talents and creativity of young hospitality professionals while encouraging sustainable practices in the industry. The competition, featuring over 350 participants in 20 categories, will run until July 25th and includes 18 specially-abled professionals, emphasizing the event’s dedication to inclusivity and diversity.

This special category is particularly significant as it opens doors for talented individuals who are often overlooked. The AHP Hospitality Challenge 2024 began with a series of competitions assessing skills across various hotel operational sectors. The festivities commenced at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Paschim Vihar, with the Front Office Master Competition, where over 25 professionals demonstrated their mastery.

Gautam, the Chief of the Jury, praised the participants for their exceptional performances, particularly noting their extempore presentations on front office-related topics, showcasing their spontaneity and communication prowess. The event then moved to the culinary stage, spanning three days at Banarsidas Chandiwala IHM in Delhi, where over 125 chefs competed in 11 culinary categories. The array of contests included International Cuisine, Halwai (Indian sweets), Dressing a Cake, Regional Indi.
