A WOMAN has been left horrified after she ordered bubble tea from M&S. Unfortunately for Kirsty Martin, her ‘rip off’ drink didn’t look quite how she expected. Kirsty confirmed that she bought a strawberry bubble tea from M&S - but people have said her beverage looks more like baked beans.

Bubble tea is a Taiwanese cold drink made with tea, sweetened milk or other flavourings, and contains balls or ‘pearls’ of tapioca - a starchy substance in the form of hard grains. Posting on social media, Kirsty shared a picture of the advertised drink, followed by a snap of the beverage she actually received. In the short clip, the young woman claimed: “Do not order the strawberry bubble tea from M&S Cafe.

” As she shared a picture of the thirst-quenching M&S drink, which is advertised as red in colour, with a strawberry garnish, Kirsty penned: “This is what I ordered.” She then posted an image of the drink she was actually served, as she wrote: “And this is what I got.” Shocked at the drink, which looked nothing like how she had expected it to, Kirsty then shared: “Worst £4 I have ever spent.

” Not only this, but she hailed the drink as a “rip off”. The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ _kirstymartin , has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 88,600 views. Social media users were gobsmacked at the high-street beverage and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.

Not only did the tapioca in the drink remind man.
