WhatsApp rival, Telegram has rolled out a new update for its users. The new feature-rich update adds a way to minimize mini apps into a compact bar, helps content creators monetize their channels with paid photos and videos, and improves Stories by introducing search by hashtag or location and a new link widget. Here are all the new and improved features coming to Telegram Telegram users engage with mini apps on a monthly basis for purchasing products, accessing services, and playing games.

You will now have an option to collapse these mini apps into a bottom bar on your screen. This allows you to respond to messages or open other mini apps and seamlessly return to a previously accessed mini app without waiting for it to reload. To minimise an app, simply swipe down on its header.

To reopen, tap the app bar at the bottom of your screen and select one of your active apps. Now, content creators can accept Stars by publishing paid photos or videos on their channels. Subscribers will be allowed to view such posts only after paying the author to unlock them.

By tapping a #hashtag in any chat, you can view search results related to that tag from both your chats and public channels. With this recent update, tapping hashtags within story captions allows you to explore public stories that share the same tags. If you’re a content creator or a business, using hashtags can enhance your audience reach by making it easier for Telegram users to organically discover your profile or channel.
