Fire Sticks are Amazon's nifty plug-in gadgets that can transform any TV into a smart streaming device, and are often dubbed as a much cheaper way to download and install the likes of Prime Video, Paramount+, Apple TV, and Disney+ to name a few. Released back in 2014 there are plenty of different models to choose from, and if you feel your device is starting to lag now may be the best time to upgrade. A tech expert from The Mirror, Dave Snelling, says it's the perfect time for shoppers to 'ditch the older models'.
And it's all thanks to a surprise Amazon sale, which has propelled four of the retailer's newer and most up-to-date Fire Sticks into the sales. With prices as low as £29.99 on the entry-level Fire TV Stick Lite , anyone who buys one of the dongles in the sale will join the "streaming revolution" with "improved visuals".
