” A video posted to TikTok on Monday showed Boone standing in the crowd and looking ecstatic upon hearing Swift praise his name. Getting his start on TikTok, Boone was a contestant on season 19 of American Idol, wowing Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan with his rendition of Punchline by Aidan Martin at the age of 19. "You know, there's some folks who need to practice, and there's some folks who are just gifted at it," Richie told Boone after his audition.
