The world got to see a completely different side to the Royal Family last week when Prince William took two of his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte to see Taylor Swift . In a rare move, the Prince of Wales and his two eldest were all smiles in a backstage selfie at Wembley Stadium alongside Taylor and her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Captioning the post, which has restricted comments, the singing sensation wrote in view of her 238million followers: "Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.
" Fans were sent into a frenzy when a picture of the moment was also shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales ' official Instagram page alongside the caption: "Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour." Discussing the viral selfie, Marina Hyde and Richard Osman suggested that only Taylor could get away with sharing such a personal moment with a usually private William as she's "bigger" than them. Speaking on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, the journalist said: "When you see that [picture], you have to think ah, there are two photographers involved here because there is Taylor doing the selfie and then there is, I guess, Taylor's official photographer taking a photo of that moment happening and putting it out.
"Even though they've come in a private thing, you know the royal family, particularly the Wales' are so fussy about anything like that and they complain. "You just think, yeah she's just bigger than them so what are they going to do? .
