Their rivalry was cemented when in 2019, the music executive, who has worked with artists such as Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande , purchased Taylor’s masters from her former record label, Big Machine Records.
Before Scooter purchased her masters, which has since prompted Taylor to re-record her albums in an effort to gain control over her music, the duo were involved in a controversial argument involving Kanye West, Back in 2016, when Scooter was representing the rapper, Kanye released his track Famous, which featured an explicit lyric about the Shake It Off hitmaker.
