Surat: The Valsad police are keeping a close watch for speed demons resorting to dangerous stunts at the picturesque Wilson Hill after receiving multiple complaints of the locals over the menace recently. Wilson Hill draws thousands of visitors from Gujarat and other states due to its natural beauty that is enhanced in the rains. Its narrow curvy roads are favourite among the bikers to make reels, many of which have gone viral on social media.

“In the last four days, we have organized Lok Darbars in the villages of Dharampur. During the interactions, locals raised concerns about stunt biking, rash driving, and drunk driving on the roads, said Karanraj Vaghela, superintendent of police, Valsad. Police will form special teams to keep a close watch on the visitors at Wilson Hill along with the teams of the crime branch in civil dress.

Teams of other police stations have been assigned the task of keeping watch on traffic movement in the area. Police will also check car and bike drivers to prevent drunk driving and accidents..
