Kevin Clifton explains why he's been wearing high heels in public Kevin Clifton has been struck down with Covid admitting it has "got me good". The former Strictly Come Dancing pro took to his Instagram stories to share the news with his 391,000 followers. He posted an image to his stories which appeared to be a screen grab from a Facetime call to his partner Stacey Dooley.
In it, he looked visibly pale and drawn. He wrote a caption on the image which said: " Covid got me good." His illness comes in the midst of the UK tour of Everyone's Talking About Jamie in which he plays the character of Hugo, also known as drag queen Loco Chanel.
The Hull run finishes tonight (Saturday, June 22). The show is next on stage on Monday (June 24) as it moves to Theatre Royal in Norwich for the week. However, COVID guidelines mean Kevin may have to isolate for five days minimum so will miss some of these performances.
Express.co.uk has contacted representatives from the show for clarification about his return.
