The East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity has launched an appeal to raise funds to revamp a room in the Diamond Jubilee Maternity Unit, to make it a comfortable, private space for patients. A spokesperson for the charity explained: "We need a comfortable, welcoming space away from the busy ward for having sensitive conversations and to provide support to patients and their loved ones. "Help us create a much-needed quiet room in the maternity unit.
