TV personalities Stephen Fry and Lena Dunham were spotted sharing a laugh with Princess Beatrice of York and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Amidst the rain on the ninth day of the Wimbledon championships, Golden Globe recipient Dunham unveiled a new look, trading her brunette hair for black and adding a fringe, following her recent social media posts about living with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Dunham, the creative force behind the critically acclaimed TV series Girls, was seen at Wimbledon in the company of Fry, following their collaboration in the film Treasure earlier this year.
Seated next to broadcaster Fry was comedian Michael McIntyre, looking dapper in a navy suit. The duo were caught on camera sharing a joke behind Beatrice and AELTC chair Deborah Jevans. The ninth day of the championships saw attendees donning waterproof ponchos and seeking refuge under umbrellas as the rain came down.
Among those weathering the storm was actress Sienna Miller and her partner Oli Green, who were photographed protecting themselves from the elements under a branded umbrella. The American-born actress, who was raised in England, recently featured in Oscar-winner Kevin Costner's western saga Horizon: An American Saga. Miller and Green occupied seats in the Royal box at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, alongside broadcaster Adrian Chiles and Sir Cliff Richard making a return after his appearance on the second day of the competition.
