THOMASTON – It is with great sadness that the family of Stephanie Lynn Corcoran announces her sudden passing on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the age of 40. Stephanie leaves behind to cherish and honor her memory, two brothers, Zachary A. Corcoran and William J.
Corcoran III, both of Waterbury; her grandparents, William J. and Theresa Agnes (Pelletier) Corcoran of Waterbury; her cousins whom she loved so dearly, Amy Sturges (Hallock), Jennifer and Sarrah Hallock, Matthew and Vincent Brightman; her aunt Toni Brightman, aunt and uncle Sherman and Lynda Hallock; and many more cousins and friends who loved her. She was predeceased by her parents, Betsy Ann and William J.
Corcoran Jr. of Waterbury; her grandparents, Josephine Rosati and Ernest Galante of Waterbury; her cousin, Denis A. Hallock of Stamford; and her beloved dog, Rocky Balboa.
For almost 20 years, Stephanie worked for UPS. Stephanie was a genuine kind and beautiful soul who brought a joy and light to people she loved. She had an infectious smile and the silliest giggle.
Stephanie gave her whole heart to her friends and family. She adored her animals especially her dogs, Rocky and Roxie. Her love for theater and music began as a child where she sang in plays at the Seven Angels Theatre.
She could talk about books and movies for hours. Her favorite place was the Thomaston Library, where she visited every week. She was taken from us too soon and will forever be in our hearts.
May she be at peace and watch over us as our G.
