Sports allegiances are always a touchy topic, as fans get overly worked up about certain rivalries and rooting interests in a cross-sport platform more often than not. "Fan" is short for "fanatic" after all. So when you have a star in the NFL wearing the baseball jersey of a team that happens to be in the same city as his biggest rival, it may ruffle some feathers.

That's what happened to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott this week, who showed up to the Tight End University event wearing a New York Yankees jersey. The New York Giants, of course, are among the most hated rivals for the Cowboys, as fellow members of the NFC East. Once a photo of Prescott wearing the jersey was able to spread online, Prescott saw quite the backlash for his fashion choice.
