Spain qualified for the final of the 2024 European Football Championship after beating France 2-1 in the semi-finals in Munich. French striker Randal Kolo Muani opened the scoring with a header (9), and the youngster Lamine Jamal managed to equalize with one of the most beautiful goals of the tournament (21), before Dani Olmo gave them the win four minutes later. The French team tried to regain its balance again in order to return to the match again, but to no avail, so the referee blew the whistle to end the first half with the Spanish leading by two goals to one.

In the second half, the French team appeared completely different, as they began to control the game, and Kylian Mbappe began to launch attacks on the Spanish goal, but without any real danger to Unai Simon’s goal. In the 75th minute, the French team had a chance to equalize the score after the ball fell to Theo Hernandez, but his shot went over the crossbar of Spain’s goalkeeper Unai Simon. In the 85th minute, Real Madrid player Kylian Mbappe came close to scoring the equaliser for Les Bleus, after Mbappe started from the left side and shot the ball powerfully, but it went high over the Spanish national team’s goal.

The attempts continued after that, but to no avail. Spain will have a date with history as they seek to break the record for the number of titles in the tournament, which they currently share with Germany (3 each), when they face the winner between England and the Netherlands in Wednesday’s mat.
