Soap star Renauld White has died at the age of 80. The former TV star and model died in hospital in New York on Wednesday, his friend confirmed. Pal and fashion designer Jeffrey Banks confirmed the news, describing him as "a groundbreaker".
He said on Instagram : "There were very few Black models at the time. He really broke barriers. When they had a party for him in Newark for his 50-year anniversary in the fashion industry, he was very proud of the progress and how he opened the doors for other people.

Currently, no official cause of death has been confirmed. His funeral is set be held on July 12 at 11 a.
