Rita Ora is cool personified, and so it’s no surprise that all of her projects revolve around style, one way or another. The video for her infectious single, “Ask and You Shall Receive” is an updated homage to a sexy Levi’s commercial from 1985 — complete with Ora donning red Gerber Daisy petal-like lashes and scarlet lipstick, shot in the same laundromat as “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and directed by her husband Taika Waititi . She brought her A-plus fashion game as a judge on season 11 of “The Masked Singer” (and she’ll be returning for season 12 on Fox this fall).
Her hair line, TypeBea , which launched in April, after three painstaking years in the making, is a true labor of love. And the Albanian Brit’s latest Primark collection is inspired by Glastonbury and Coachella festivals. “The clothes are ethereal, nostalgic, and freeing,” Ora, 33, tells Alexa.
“The pieces tap into that boho-chic look and feature big ruffles, sheer dresses, and statement accessories.” Next, Ora will be playing the wickedly fabulous Queen of Hearts in “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” which premieres on Disney+ July 12. ”Playing a bit of a villain turned out to be even more fun than I thought it would be, and the costumes were out of this world!” says the “Don’t Think Twice” singer.
The multi-hyphenate’s closet has pops of bold colors and Berkins, but she admits she might have a teensy addiction to buying sneakers and band tees, as they both have.
