ANOTHER Geordie Shore star has made a shock return to the show just weeks after quitting. Earlier this week it was revealed Marnie Simpson had jetted to Thailand to join her Geordie Shore co-stars , despite insisting she wouldn't film any new episodes . Now it's been revealed 32-year-old Marnie's husband Casey Johnson has also backtracked after quitting the show alongside her.
Marnie shared a series of posts on her Instagram story showing former X Factor star Casey, 29, is in Thailand with the rest of them. Previously Marnie confessed she would need to have "serious conversations" with producers before ever returning. She added: "I'd have to really think about it.
" The Sun revealed this week how bosses had decided at the last minute to get Marnie out to Thailand. A source told us: “Marnie coming back was an eleventh hour decision by bosses, as they were worried the new series didn’t have enough drama. "The producers were really annoyed with the way Marnie left the show and slagged off the way the last series was edited, but when they got to Thailand to film the new series, they quickly realised something was missing.
" Marnie initially made the decision to walk away from Geordie Shore after a huge falling out with Charlotte Crosby while filming the last series. The bust-up caused Charlotte, 34, to "quit forever" and she's vowed never to return . Because of this a TV insider last month told us that Marnie and Casey had decided not to film any new scenes for the MTV show.
