A criminal investigation into a report of outraging public indecency has been launched, after a man was allegedly seen committing a lewd act at a Sheffield beauty spot. The incident is alleged to have taken place at Shirebrook Valley Nature Reserve in Stone Lane, near to the Woodhouse and Beighton areas of Sheffield, at around 12.45pm on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Speaking today (Friday, May 31, 2024), a South Yorkshire Police (SYP) spokesperson said the force is issuing a new appeal for information and witnesses, and are looking to identify one witness in particular.
