The message in question encourages receivers to click on a link so they can supposedly receive a popular Shein Mystery Box - but this is not all it seems to be. Clicking the link which promises to bring you to Shein actually goes to a fake site which allows cyber criminals to gain access to personal details. Tech expert Marc Porcar, CEO of QR Code Generator, has outlined what shoppers should do if they receive such an email.
As reported by Bristol Live , he cautioned: "If you receive an email with a 'Shein mystery box', do not open it. It is a phishing email, not from Shein but from unidentified hackers looking to steal your personal information. "Designed to trick recipients into clicking on a link that redirects them to a fake website, this website mimics Shein's official website, allowing users to enter their personal information to win a prize.
