Scottie Scheffler's eventful week at the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, came to an end Sunday well before those battling for the Wanamaker Trophy, but he still reminded everyone why he is the No. 1 golfer in the world. Scheffler finished his tournament on a high note with a six-under 65 in the final round, which brought his tournament total to 13-under par.

He wasn't a realistic contender following a disappointing third round the day after he was arrested , but he still skyrocketed up the leaderboard and into the top 10 with a brilliant finishing kick. He birdied Nos. 5 and 8, but his push started in earnest on the back nine.

After posting a birdie on the par-five 10th, he caught fire with four birdies in a five-hole stretch from Nos. 12 through 16. Everything was dialed in with fairways off the tee, darts on approach shots and well-timed putts to take advantage of scoring opportunities.
