Ubisoft insists Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in production despite having said next to nothing about it in the last four years. But while it's possible the sequel might turn out to be vaporware in the end, the original Beyond Good and Evil is back with the launch of its remastered anniversary edition. There's good news on that front, too: You can get Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition on PC at a discount from Green Man Gaming.

The new version of Beyond Good and Evil usually lists for $20, but using the code JUNE15, you can get it for $17 at GMG. There is one caveat worth noting, however: This code is for Ubisoft's PC platform, Ubisoft Connect, rather than Valve's Steam. The game is also included with Ubisoft's subscription service, Ubisoft+ Premium .

You can subscribe to the program for $18/month or $135/year--the annual membership is discounted by $35 until July 11. This version of the game improves the graphics and controls and brings the 2003 title into the modern era, offering 4K resolution and 60 FPS. The audio has also been enhanced and the soundtrack has been remastered.

Other improvements include a new autosave feature, cross-save, and the ability to skip cutscenes. There's also new content in this version, as Ubisoft noted in its blog post about the game. A new treasure hunt system sends you across the game world to earn cosmetic rewards, while tying things in with Beyond Good and Evil 2.
