Saturday Kitchen: Chef Richard Bainbridge serves up his dish Saturday Kitchen fans criticised a recipe for being a lot of “work” despite claims that it was an “easy” summer dish to recreate. As always, Matt Tebbutt and wine expert Olly Smith welcomed two chefs and a guest to the BBC morning show, to show off their culinary skills and share stories of what’s going on in their lives. The chefs this week were Anna Haugh and Richard Bainbridge who were bringing the summer vibes to the studio with their lighter dishes for everyone, including guest comedian Lauren Smyth, to try.
While Anna opted in for balsamic prawns with cherry tomatoes and creamy polenta which went down a treat, things got a little more complex with Richard’s radish tart and super summer salad with dijon mustard dressing. “Right Richard, there’s a lot going on here”, Tebbutt initially remarked. Saturday Kitchen fans slams ‘easy’ dish labelling chef’s creation as ‘too much faff’.
