Over the weekend, the NFL world got its first look at a host of the top rookies in full uniform, including San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall. Pearsall took part in the NFLPA's rookie premiere over the weekend, donning the complete attire he will wear during his maiden season in the league for the first time since the 49ers selected him 31st overall last month. That promotional event now complete, Pearsall's focus will swiftly move to the first real examination of his progress in the weeks following his selection.
San Francisco hosts organised team activities this week as the 49ers step up their preparations for a 2024 campaign in which they will look to go one better after losing the Super Bowl in agonizing fashion last season. Pearsall has already seen the practice field for the 49ers at rookie minicamp. Now, having had the chance to absorb the 49ers' playbook, he will have an opportunity to prove he has learned it quickly and raise hopes he can be a significant contributor in year one despite the pass-catchers ahead of him in the pecking order.

His opportunities to do so during OTAs may be increased depending on Brandon .
