After teasing it earlier at the January Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung has finally taken the wraps off the Galaxy Ring in Paris, alongside its other wearable cousins -- Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. We spent some time with the Galaxy Ring and so far, it looks like a promising health and fitness tracking wearable device. In simple words we like what we see.

First impressions of the Galaxy Ring in terms of design is -- Beautiful -- at least the Silver and Black colours; Gold is not bad either. Moving on to the build, it’s titanium grade 4, has 10ATM water resistance and IP68 rating that makes it pretty durable. However, we can’t talk about longevity and how the ring performs in the long run.

For now, let's just settle with the fact that it looks pretty solid. The weight is another concern and Samsung says, the Galaxy Ring weighs between 2.4g to 3g, depending on the size you choose.

That makes it one of the lightest, if not the most lightweight ring. We also tried it on and with the thickness of 7mm, the ring felt pretty clean and comfortable. Also, speaking of sizes, Galaxy Ring is available in a total of nine sizes, starting from five to 13.

Samsung will also have the sizing kit available for users to measure their finger size and get the ring accordingly. Samsung has placed the updated BioActive Sensor at the bottom of the ring and the company has also showcased a scalable architecture of the sensor that it has to develop in order to fit this sensor into the diff.
