The campaign, which is called “Olympic Games Instants Shared #withGalaxy,” is now live across the city of Paris and contains captivating imagery that offers a new perspective to the power of sport. It is one of many ways Samsung is helping to bring the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to life in the host city as the countdown to Paris 2024 continues.

As a photographer and filmmaker, Raymond Depardon has captured some of the most iconic images of the century, including portraits of the athletes in Olympic competition between 1964 and 1980. The new campaign, which was developed in collaboration between Samsung and the City of Paris, pays homage to Raymond’s renowned work and represents a passing of the torch — as Raymond’s iconic black-and-white, archival imagery is exhibited alongside new imagery from his son Simon, who focused his lens on some of the newest Olympic Games and Paralympic Games disciplines. The series of images features Team Samsung Galaxy athletes; Sarah Bee (Breaking), Aurelie.
