Director of Saltburn, Emerald Fennell, has delighted fans by announcing her next project is set to be an adaptation of Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. Emerald Fennell delighted fans with her films Saltburn and Promising Young Woman, both excellent and horrifying films that included upbeat pop hits and murder. Saltburn caused huge waves as fans were left with their jaws on the floor by the various plot twists and the extreme scenes featuring Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi .

The film was an almighty success and Promising to kick things up a notch, the star has now announced that she will be adapting an iconic gothic horror – and fans can barely cope. The star revealed artwork on social media of a skeleton crest with the title Wuthering Heights in the dead centre. The photo read: ‘Be with me always, take any form, drive me mad.
