Dancehall artiste Ryzin has never strayed from the Christian principles and values that were instilled in him by his parents when he was a child. "I grew up in a household where we were taught about the importance of living good and worshipping God, both at home and church. I grew up with certain principles and values that I will never stray from.

There's no power higher than God," said the artiste. The Boston-based deejay said that in 2023, someone reached out to him expressing an interest in investing in his career. "After a couple of meetings, a plan was put in place to support the development of my career and we began doing some work in the studios," he said.

Ryzin said they also asked him to collaborate on a book project, with the topic being the importance of God in the family. This excited the artiste. "I figured that it would help to promote good family values.

So, I began working on the project with them immediately. Everything was good until I found out that they wanted to change the title of the book from A Spiritual Family and call it God the Devil . When I asked them why they wanted to change the title of the book, they told me that they also planned to change the content so that it would align with the title," he said.

"I was so shocked that day that I walked out of the meeting and immediately went straight home. It took me a week to recover from the shock. When I did, I called them and told them that I didn't want anything to do with them or the book.

They said.
