IRISH people heading to Dublin Airport for a flight over the coming days have been urgently warned to check for updates before heading off. Met Eireann have issued a weekend weather update and confirmed that poor conditions with "heavy rain" will batter Ireland. Ryanair warned passengers of" potential disruptions" today as showers, thunder, mist and fog are expected to hit the country.
They apologised to customers and said delays are "outside of Ryanair control." A notice on their website reads: "Potential disruptions to/from Ireland (Thur 13 Jun) due to high winds and low visibility. "Affected passengers will be notified and any passengers travelling to/from Ireland on Thur 13 Jun should check their Ryanair app for the latest updates on their flight.
"We regret any inconvenience caused to passengers by these weather conditions, which are outside of Ryanair's control and affect all airlines operating to/from Ireland Thur 13 Jun. A status yellow rain warning is in place for Cork and Kerry from 3am on Thursday night until 9am Friday morning. Met Eireann warned of spot flooding in these areas as well as difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.
