RYANAIR is launching a new route between the UK and a cheap holiday hotspot where Brits are almost guaranteed warm weather. The budget airline launched a twice-weekly service between Manchester Airport and Tangier in Morocco. 2 Ryanair has launched a new route between Manchester and Tangier Credit: Getty Earlier this year, Tangier was named one of the best places to travel in 2024 by Vogue thanks to a string of new hotels being opened, and Kayak also named it in their top three best value flight destinations for the summer.

Direct services are already in operation, with flights operating between the two destinations every Saturday and Monday, making for the perfect long weekend. Outbound services on a Saturday will leave Manchester Airport at 9.05am before landing in Tangier at 12.

15pm. Flights will then depart from Tangier Airport at 12.40pm, landing back in Manchester at 3.

50pm. The flight times for services on a Monday differ, with the aircraft leaving Manchester at 3.30pm before arriving in Morocco at 6.

40pm. Monday return fights will depart for Manchester at 7.05pm, touching back down in the UK at 10.

15pm. The new route, which launched earlier this week, is already in operation, with tickets on sale on the Ryanair website. Sun Online Travel have found return fares between Manchester Airport and Tangier for £90.
