Ryan Tubridy has opened up on an "erratic" year as he celebrated his 51st birthday this week. It has been one year since the radio presenter signed off from The Late Late Show after 14 years as he marked his milestone 50th birthday. And in a couple of weeks, it will be one year since the beginning of the RTE payments scandal broke, which started with revelations that the national broadcaster had been overpaying Tubs.
After a tumultuous few months that followed, Ryan left RTE and landed a gig in London with Virgin Radio.
