I was approached by Bangor music producer Phil Johnston, who had the original idea. He asked me if I would be interested in collaborating with him to record the song. I sat down with Phil and Michael Walsh, my manager, and, between the three of us, added more lyrics and chords and recorded the song at Phil’s studio.

Of course it is. Teens have feelings and emotions too. We need to be heard and we should be able to express how we feel about what is going on in the world.

I see the news, all the innocent children being killed, and world leaders who don’t seem to care about human life. I don’t usually get nervous. It’s more the excitement I feel.

My experience on The Voice Kids was amazing. It gave me the confidence to perform in front of an audience, as well as famous pop stars. It also gave me an insight into how TV works.

I learnt a lot from the vocal coaches. They taught me about different vocal techniques that I still use today. I hope it raises awareness of what is going on around the world.
