Red Bull have launched their RB17 Hypercar at Goodwood (Image: Red Bull) Red Bull have unveiled their striking debut Hypercar, the RB17, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed . The brand new machine was designed by Adrian Newey and will be his final major contribution to the organisation before he departs the squad at the end of the season. Only 50 units of the RB17 have been made with owners facing a £5 million price tag to get their hands on the remarkable machine.
Included in that valuation, however, is on-track training sessions and time in Red Bull simulators. Production will officially start in 2025, but the majority of the 50 units have already been snapped up by prospective buyers. It’s easy to understand why, too.
The RB17 can reach speeds of over 350 kilometres per hour and is equipped with advanced ground effect components and even an energy recovery system, as seen in F1 cars.
