R'Bonney Gabriel is embracing her Filipino roots! On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2022 shared photos from a day she spent in their family's home in Malate, Manila. In the photos, the beauty queen could be seen wearing a denim tube top and a black skirt while carrying a dog. She also shared the Filipino spread on their dining table, which included dishes like kare-kare, buttered shrimp, and a platter of mangoes and bananas.

R'Bonney, the first Filipino-American Miss Universe , has been exploring her heritage in the Philippines, from eating Pinoy street food , practicing her "tawad" game in Divisoria , and riding a jeepney . The beauty queen was among the hosts of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night, where Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan was crowned as Michelle Dee 's successor.
