RAVE to the incredibly sweet (and adorable!) security guard at Fred Meyer in Ballard. I was waiting for my forgotten wallet to be brought to me and I asked him to watch my cart when it was time to go get it. He innocently asked this 60-plus senior citizen if I had Apple Pay and I said no.
We started talking about how handy it was and he started to explain to me how to add it. He then walked over to the self-checkout and showed me how to use it and it worked! You made my day! RANT AND RAVE Rave to my neighbor, who was out in the heat all day mowing, trimming and maintaining University Circle Park’s grass and landscaping in the Hawthorne neighborhood. Rant to Seattle Parks and Recreation for failing to provide basic and necessary care to our neighborhood park, leaving the unsightly mess to local tax-paying citizens to clean up.
