Qatar tribune QNA Doha Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the State of Qatar HE Janusz Janke has affirmed that the relations between Poland and Qatar have been developing dynamically in the recent years, as evidenced by numerous contacts at the political level and economic cooperation. Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Polish ambassador highlighted that President of the Republic of Poland HE Andrzej Duda visited Doha this year, pointing out that the official visit of HH the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Warsaw will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in trade and investment, energy, education, tourism, in addition to international topics such as the situation in the Gaza Strip and Ukraine. He commended the cooperation between the two countries in energy, affirming that Qatar is an important supplier of LNG to Poland which stabilizes the Poland’s energy diversification policy.

He added that many Polish companies are interested in establishing their presence in the Qatari market, but also more broadly in the market of the Arabian Gulf. Janke underlined that economy has the biggest potential for cooperation with Qatar, and for this reason Poland is planning to organize the fifth edition of the Qatar-Poland New Tech Forum during HH the Amir’s visit to Warsaw, emphasizing that he expects a large representation of Polish, Qatari and international companies during the forum’s events, as Poland has remained one of the most attract.
