The Prince of Wales is set to attend the wedding of his close friend, the Duke of Westminster, today. The billionaire aristocrat, Hugh Grosvenor, 33, will tie the knot with Olivia Henson, 31, at Chester Cathedral. Prince William will serve as an usher for , while his brother, the Duke of Sussex, has mutually agreed not to attend.

The Duke's property company owns huge amounts of land, including Liverpool ONE. This comes amidst a long-standing rift between the Royal brothers. The Princess of Wales, currently undergoing cancer treatment and largely out of the public eye, is also not expected to be present.

Neither the King, who is the groom's godfather, nor the Queen are due to attend the ceremony, having attended D-Day commemorations in France on Thursday. The Duke of Westminster is godfather to William's son, Prince George, and reportedly, to Harry's son Prince Archie. Prince George, aged ten, is not expected to attend the wedding due to it falling on a school day.

The Duke of Westminster topped The Sunday Times 40 Under 40 Rich List earlier this year, boasting a fortune of £10.1 billion, reports . His bride-to-be, a London and Oxfordshire native, works in the sustainable food and drinks industry, most recently with London-based artisanal food company Belazu.

The couple reportedly chose the wedding venue for its beauty and personal connection to the duke, whose family home, Eaton Hall, is nearby. Both William and Harry served as ushers at the wedding of his sister, Lady Tamar.
