Despite suggestions that the Prince and Princess of Wales might be the fitting new occupants of the Royal Lodge, they are reportedly quite settled at Adelaide Cottage. Consequently, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh could be potential candidates for the move if Prince Andrew vacates, according to some sources, the Express reports. Prince Andrew secured a 75-year lease on the Royal Lodge with the Crown Estate back in 2003, leaving 54 years still to run, and it appears he intends to see out his lease agreement.
