A pop-up ice cream parlour in the city centre this weekend will feature DJ sets, lawn games and as much frozen delights as you can handle. The Häagen-Dazs Flavour Club will be taking up residency in Spinningfields Square on Saturday (June 29) with a disco ice cream van and chill out areas to enjoy if the weather stays nice. The pop-up space, which will run from 1pm to 7pm, has been described as ideal for those looking for an alternative to the summer of sports.

The event will also feature a happy hour from 4-5pm. The one-hour special will also feature a live performance from Britain’s Got Talent’s musical comedy finalist Micky P Kerr.

There will also be an evening’s night of good tunes from DJ Fastlove - who will be delivering an energetic set from the rooftop of the disco ice cream van.
