Peter Andre is set to extend his filmography as he appears in a brand new horror film about strippers set to premiere next month. The I’m A Celebrity star is among the cast of Member’s Club , which has its world premiere at FrightFest in London on August 24. Member’s Club is among a stacked roster of horror films from across the world for the annual event, including Demi Moore’s controversial Cannes film The Substance , Kyle Gallner-starring Strange Darling, and Elijah Wood’s Bookworm.
The film is described as The Full Monty meets horror, with Andre joined by Dean Kilbey, Perry Benson, and Steve Oram in the cast. The synopsis for the upcoming horror comedy reads: ‘The Full Monty goes all the way with full horror and hilarity where old members are more than welcome. Wet Dreams, a middle-aged male stripper group has hit rock bottom.
‘After a string of disastrous gigs, the gang considers disbanding. Alan (Kilbey), the group’s happy-go-lucky frontman, takes over the business and books the boys a lucrative and mysterious gig in rural Essex. ‘But when the group arrives at the desolate club, their night quickly takes a dark turn when they find themselves tangled up in a plot to raise a murderous 16th-century witch from the dead.
’ Andre appears in Member’s Club as Adonis, with a poster for the film showing the pop singer sporting a flowing brunette wig for the occasion. It’s the reality TV star’s first foray into the world of horror after previously landing .
